Take one payment you have already made. This page compares the rate implied by your own
figures with a reference PayAxis calculates from published central-bank rates — the European Central Bank's
euro reference rates and, for the dirham, the CBUAE's — using the applicable fixing.
It does not calculate your provider's fee or exchange-rate margin, and it does not show a saving that was
available to you.
Exactly as the debit appears.
In the same currency. Leave blank if there was none.
Before any deductions by banks along the way.
Units per 1 unit of your currency.
Day first: 26/08/2026, or 26 Aug 2026. A value date can be a day or two later.
What this can and cannot tell you
It compares the rate implied by your own figures with a reference for the date you give. The ECB quotes every currency per one euro, so where the euro is the funding currency, the reference is the ECB's figure as published. In every other case the reference is PayAxis's own calculation from the ECB's rates — the reciprocal of a published rate for payments into euros, or a cross-rate between two other currencies — and not a rate published or endorsed by the ECB. The rates come from a table inside this page: once the page has loaded, it makes no further request. Currency references that depend on a Gulf central bank's rate are calculated only for the AED, whose CBUAE source has been checked.
The ECB publishes its euro reference rates for information purposes only and strongly discourages using them for transaction purposes. They are one observation per business day, taken around 14:10 CET — not the rate your bank saw when it converted, and not a rate anyone could have dealt at.
So the difference shown is a comparison, not proof of what your bank charged, and not a saving available to you.
It cannot see charges taken by banks along the way. Your supplier's statement shows what actually arrived.
Your payment figures are processed locally in your browser, and are not transmitted to or stored by PayAxis. Loading the page is itself a request to the server that hosts it, which sees ordinary technical access data.
